VOTING INFORMATION: Anyone who is a member of record, whether or not the member plans to attend Cherryland Electric Cooperative’s Annual Meeting, may cast a ballot. Only one ballot may be cast per membership.
This year you will be voting for one director from Leelanau County and one At-Large director. Candidate information is in the Cherryland Annual Report inside the center of the May issue of Michigan Country Lines and on the Cherryland website. To be counted, online ballots must be cast by 12:00 p.m. on June 14, 2017. Mail-in ballots must be received by June 14, 2017, at Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) in Eden Prairie, MN.
HOW TO VOTE: Members have the option to vote online, by mail, or in person.
1. ONLINE: To vote through SmartHub, access your online ballot by logging into your account via Cherryland’s website (desktop only), select the “Vote Now” button in the upper, right-hand corner of the screen and follow the instructions given on the board election website.
If you do not wish to use SmartHub, go to directly to the board election website, enter your ballot I.D. and election passcode printed on the back of your May issue of Michigan Country Lines (see example above) or in the email from SBS, and follow the instructions given on the board election website.
2. BY MAIL: Insert the paper ballot into the enclosed postage-paid “Business Reply” envelope both inside the May issue of Michigan Country Lines, seal and mail. Please do not include anything other than the ballot. Additional or replacement mail-in ballots are not available.
3. IN PERSON: If you do not vote online or by mail, you can vote in person at the Annual Meeting from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on June 15, 2017. If you submit either an online ballot or mail-in ballot, you will not receive a ballot at the Annual Meeting.
All members who cast a ballot will be entered to win a $100 bill credit!

Great idea, have been voting online for my stock for the passed couple of years. Maybe next year you can get the voting from an iPad and the desktop.
Do not let Putin pick your board of directors.
I have tried several times to vote online,m It will not open. What should I do?
Hi Anka – give us a call at 231-486-9200 and let’s see if we can diagnose that problem for you.
Thank you so much for this intractable goose chase ….I arrived on this page because you instructed me on the last page i was on that i should go here to vote. When i got here, above the barcode you now tell me to go someplace else which instructed: “on the back cover in the lower left hand corner” is my ballot ID number and my passcode …both of which I already got from an earlier page which instructed me too come here. this is just too much . Obviously you do not want my vote and I have now spent more than an hour trying to vote ….thank you so much for so much entertaining obfuscation !!!! You do program things to make things easy …. to facilitate a successful voting experience …. I do so wish i could get my electricity from some other organization !!!!!
