Scholarships

Commitment to community is one of our guiding cooperative principles. We know that one of the best investments a community can make is in education. Every year we help youth and adults in our service territory as they build the skills that our community needs to be ready to meet future challenges.

Student Scholarships

Cherryland offers three $4,000 college scholarships to high school seniors each year. Selection for the scholarship is based on academics, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicant’s parents or legal guardians must be a Cherryland Electric Cooperative member whose primary residence is in Cherryland’s service territory.
Applicant must be a high school senior with a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Adult Scholarships

Cherryland offers one $2,000 adult education scholarship each year. Selection for the adult scholarship is based on need.

Applicant must be a Cherryland Electric Cooperative member.
Applicant must be enrolled in college classes.
