Gabe Schneider was elected in 2021 to serve a three-year term through 2024.

As the owner and founder of Northern Strategies 360, he provides assistance with local, state and federal legislative and administrative matters and guides clients in successful advocacy efforts.

Graduating in 2003, Schneider holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations (with a focus in environmental economics) from Michigan State University’s James Madison College.

He currently sits on the Traverse City Downtown Development Authority Board, Michigan Strategic Fund Port Authority Advisory Committee, and Traverse Connect Government Relations Committee. Schneider is also associated with the Adams Chapter of Trout Unlimited and TART Trails.

Schneider was also named as one of Traverse City Business News’s 40Under40.
