Here is a list of commonly asked questions regarding our residential rebate program:

Does the LED bulb or appliance have to be ENERGY STAR rated?

All LED bulbs and appliances must be ENERGY STAR rated to qualify for a rebate. The ENERGY STAR logo will appear on the package or Energy Guide.  If you don’t see the logo, the LED bulb or appliance is not ENERGY STAR rated and doesn’t qualify for a rebate.

Is there a limit on the number of LED bulbs that can be purchased?

No, more bulbs the merrier!

When must I have my rebate claim submitted?

Once you have made your purchase, please submit a claim within 30 days.

Will my rebate claim be considered if I submit after the 30-day period?

Don’t worry, we will still consider your claim as long as the item’s date of purchase, installation, and claim submission are all within the same calendar year. But if you do submit within 30 days of purchase, we can get the rebate to you faster.

Is there a limit on the number of rebate claims that I can file in one year?

No, submit as many claims as you want.

If the purchase price is lower than the rebate value, what will be the rebate amount?

If that’s the case, we will match your purchase cost. Sales tax is not included in the rebate value.

How will I know if I have received a rebate?

Your rebate will appear as a bill credit on your billing statement one to two billing cycles from submission date. Credits can be found as a line item just above the “Total Charges” line on the right side of the bill. Not sure where that is? Take a look at our billing section of our website.

What do I need when submitting a rebate form?

Easy. All you will need to do is complete the rebate form on our website and forward it to us with an itemized copy of your sales receipt (including make and model numbers). Heat pump purchases require require proof of efficiency ratings in order to qualify for a rebate.
